With the recent animosity growing between our countries…mostly between Canada and the United States with Anti-American media in Canada, it is moving and stilling of the soul to see something like this…and having faith returned that when push comes to shove, we will always have each others backs when needed. The UK, Canada, and Australia have all been wonderful steadfast allies of the USA, and I pray that will remain so.
My prayers are always with our soldiers and our allies who serve to defend the freedom we take so for granted each day. Thank you to those who are brave enough to stand in uniform and tread where angels fear to roam.

Side note: Not only apparently will I be doing a chibi America, but one of my cosplay buddies might also be doing a chibi Russia as pictured =^.^= I wish her luck!

I wanted to share this amazing work with everyone, if you haven’t already seen it, by quite the talented cosplay group. This is a very interesting take on how America is likely to feel the pain of the past and the changes of his relations with other nations through the years. One thing to keep in mind is that the road to good friendships is always a 50/50 street as well, but this video shows how America feels the blame is all his own, and the guilt of things he has done or had to do, now coming to eat away at him. Or at least that was my take. I suggest watching well after the credits =^.~=
I am a very brash, honest, opinionated, and cynical person as a whole, who was born and raised in South Carolina, USA. I have a deep passion for history, culture, literature, and mythos/folklore, in fact, I have a triple Major in English (emphasis in Mythology and Folklore), History, and Political Science, with a minor in Biology. I am currently working on my Master's and have a desire to soak up as much cultural diversity as possible. I am a avid cosplayer and panelist in the Southern US, and look forward to meeting new people!
